What is the best protocol to use to send a file thru RS232. It is gonna be a 256Kbyte of data.
I decide to just send the binary file without header, error-checking, etc. Since the RS-232 cable is only 2-5 feet long without any noise, it did not generate any errors when I send my file. ...thank you for all your help...
yep, that should be fine. Just make sure you turn off software (XON/XOFF) flow control!
