Infineon announced that C166V2-based microcontrollers are available. Are they supported by Keil toolset?
Yep. Infineon has a new C868 which is an 8051-based microcontroller. This is supported by uVision2. (Check the device database at http://www.keil.com/dd/chiploc.asp?f=8051&v=Infineon for a complete list of the Infineon 8051 devices that are supported). Infineon also has several new C16x devices named XC16x. These are also supported. (Again, check the device database at http://www.keil.com/dd/chiploc.asp?f=166&v=Infineon for the Infineon C16x devices that are supported). Because of NDA requirements with Infineon, noone was allowed to announce or promote support for these parts before February 19, 2002. That's why there is no information on the web, yet. I was in the process of adding the press releases when I saw this post. :-) Jon
