Hi,
I was wondering if there are any metrics I can use to track the performance of the CCPI2 interconnect. Intel has two metrics in some of its CPUs: UPI bandwidth and UPI utilization outgoing. I'm using CentOS 8 and the perf tools has the following events available: data_pktsent, gic_pktsent, req_pktsent and snoop_pktsent. are there any performance metrics i can compute using these performance counters?
thanks,
YAH
Thanks. I'm just studying the ThunderX2 architecture
Dear YHuerta,
A list of PMU events specific to ThunderX2 could be find here: marvell-server-processors-thunderx2-cn99xx-pmu-events-white-paper-2019-11.pdf
Do you have a specific performance that you would like to track in mind?
Note that CCPI stand for Cavium Coherent Processor Interconnect and is not an Arm IP.
