请问T624是否是MAIL-T628MP4的简称

Could you tell me that T624 is called MAIL-T628MP4 for short?

  • Hi,

The Mali T624 GPU is a different GPU to the Mali T628.

Note that the last digit denotes the maximum number of shader cores that design is capable of, not the actual number of cores a Silicon Manufacturer has decided to actually implement, hence the need for the MPx suffix.

You may notice in later GPU's we no longer have the last digit denoting its max shader cores to try lessen confusion.

You mention that you are comparing an MP4 version of T628 but do not state how many cores there are in your T624, as that can be any number of shader cores between 1 and 4 inclusive.

If you are asking what the differences are between a T628-MP4 and a T624-MP4, then yes indeed they will be identical in terms of hardware.

The difference there would be the manufacturer is allowed to add more cores to the T628 if they wish, whereas they cannot with a T624.

I hope that helps clarify a few things.

    Kind Regards,
