Mali200 Multi-sampling buffer allocation

Note: This was originally posted on 10th July 2012 at http://forums.arm.com

Hi,

I'm working with Mali200 driver, and I have one puzzled question relative with Multi-sampling:

Where does the driver allocate multi-sampling buffer? I do debug, but i can't find any place to allocate it. I use 4X.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,
A

The logical conclusion is therefore that there isn't one =) Mali is a tile based renderer, so multi-sampling all happens internally within the GPU in hardware.
