I have a question regarding the license for the Fast Models Crypto plugin:
developer.arm.com/.../Fast Models
During installation, the following part of license grant is provided:
Subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions of this License Arm hereby grants to you a license to use the Arm Tools (or components thereof) for the purpose of: (a) building, developing, testing, debugging, analysing and optimising Your Software or Your Hardware; and(b) generation of Your Reports, and use of Your Reports to develop, test, debug, analyse and optimise Your Software or Your Hardware.
My question is:
Can the Fast Models Crypto plugin be used in a commercial project for testing purposes free of charge, or does it require obtaining a separate commercial license?
As far as I can see, the text of the FVP license is identical to that of the Crypto plugin license (FastModels_crypto_11.29.042_Linux64_armv8l/license_terms/license_agreement.htm).
The ARM representative, Daniel Owens, stated that the use of the Crypto plugin for commercial purposes for testing is allowed free of charge.
This implies that the same conditions apply to the FVP as well, given the identical license text.
It's strange that the ARM representatives are not responding to your clarifying question.
It would be interesting to hear their opinion.
