Hello,
I am using arm performance studio "Arm_Performance_Studio_2024.6" to profile ARMNN.
But when i stop capture it is giving error and it will be in analysis state only.
Can anyone help me reason for this issue
Hi Ravi,
We assume that you have followed Streamline documentation to collect ARMNN.Could you let us know how was the counters configured? Are you using the ones from Streamline or was configured externally? Also what was the hardware used in this case? Could you please share the apc captured with this issue , for us to analyse it further.
Meanwhile could you please try these.1. Try the latest version of Streamline from latest Performance Studio 2025.0. 2. If you are not interested in metric data, could you please remove them from configuration and try to do a new capture.
ThanksKavitha

Tried both with default counters without external counters and with ARMNN counters
1. Try the latest version of Streamline from latest Performance Studio 2025.0.
tried with this version also but same error.
2. If you are not interested in metric data, could you please remove them from configuration and try to do a new capture.
Where i can see this metric options in tool. can you give detailed steps
Thanks for sharing the capture, we will analyze and get back on the issue.
Regarding removing metric counters. From Counter Configuration (https://developer.arm.com/documentation/101816/0905/Capture-a-Streamline-profile/Counter-Configuration/Create-a-custom-counter-configuration?lang=en) remove the _metric_ counters from Events to collect and save the configuration. Then create a new capture.
Thanks for the reply.
There are no metric_counters in Events to collect list .
Also i have removed all counters and kept only cpu_cycles counter but no use
There seems to be some issue in the events xml generated, we are still investigating that. For the time being can you remove all metrics entries for Cortex-A78AE , Cortex-A78 from the events.xml inside apc and reanalyze the capture. We tried it locally with the capture you have provided and it is getting analyzed. See if that helps.Meanwhile we will try to get this issue fixed in upcoming Streamline release.
Thanks and it is working after removing metric entries
Great!
