Using old releases

We recommend users always use the latest Linaro deliverables, though we also support using the one-previous release; see here to download the corresponding workspace script.

Using older Linaro releases is not officially supported; you will need to use Linaro's FTP servers to manually fetch required artefacts.

Due to restructuring of Linaro's FTP servers of time, where you need to go to find old releases varies based on how old they are:

  • For releases dating back to 15.10, see the direct-download links here
  • For releases between 15.07 and 15.09 inclusive, see the pages here
  • For release 15.06, see here
  • For release 15.05, see here

Releases 14.07 to 15.04 inclusive are from before unified instructions were available, which complicates where you need to look; consult the directory structures below and replace `YY.MM' with your chosen release:

  • Android
    • Juno and Armv8-A FVP: `http://releases.linaro.org/archive/15.04/members/arm/android/images/armv8-android-juno-lsk/'
    • TC2: `http://releases.linaro.org/archive/YY.MM/members/arm/android/images/vexpress-lsk/'
