Pranay Prabhat (M’19) was born in Indore, India in 1983. He received the B.Tech. degree in electronics and communication engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India in 2005 and the M.Sc. degree in microelectronic system design with distinction from the University of Southampton, UK in 2007.
From 2005 to 2006, he was an Analog Design Engineer with STMicroelectronics. From 2007 to 2015, he was a VLSI Design Engineer with Arm. Since 2015, he has been a Principal Research Engineer with Arm, Cambridge, UK. His research interests include subthreshold and low-leakage logic, memories, body-biasing, clock sources, power-gating and low-power VLSI techniques at the intersection of custom digital circuits, synthesis and RTL design. He is an author on 13 articles and 12 patents on low-power VLSI design.
Mr. Prabhat's awards include the Zepler M.Sc. prize (2007), and the PATMOS Best Paper award (2016). He serves on the SSC-L Editorial Review Board.”
