Mark O'Connor is a Senior Principal ML Researcher at Arm, leading research into unsupervised learning, autonomous devices and ML training. He previously worked as Director of Deep Learning in Arm's Machine Learning group prototyping future-looking use cases and ML tooling workflows.
Prior to joining Arm in 2016, Mark was VP Product at Allinea, where he led the design and development of supercomputer profiling and debugging tools used by the majority of top labs around the world, accelerating research into climate simulation, drug discovery and nuclear fusion. Mark believes in dynamic typing, attacking the barriers to entry for open robotics and the immortal essence of the human soul. He also likes tea.
