I work at Arm as part of the Machine Learning Research Lab. Before joining Arm, I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from University Complutense of Madrid working on image processing. As a postdoc, I spent some time working on bioinformatics in the Spanish National Centre for Biotechnology, and then back to UCM to work on accelerators for genomics sequence alignment in collaboration with Imec. My research interests include data science, bioinformatics, and compiler technology, among others. More broadly, I'm interested in the impact that technology has on the wider society and its implications, both the opportunities and the consequences.
