James Myers leads the Devices, Circuits and Systems team within Arm Research, seeking to push compute to the furthest physical extremes of cost, efficiency, performance, and integration. James has been at Arm since 2007 where he was initially responsible for developing and supporting reference EDA flows for the various Arm soft IP cores. He moved to R&D in 2009 to pursue energy efficient circuits and systems. James holds 25+ granted US patents, has taped out 20+ successful testchips, and presented at ISSCC and VLSI Symposium. His current interests include energy harvesting systems, bespoke printed electronics, and electronics for sustainability.
