About Chuteng Zhou

Chuteng (Chu) Zhou is a machine learning researcher with Arm’s Machine Learning Research Lab (MLRL). His research interests include neural network optimization for edge deployment, model hardware co-optimization, photonic and electronic analogue deep learning accelerators and statistical learning theory. Prior to Arm, Chu was a PhD student at MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center conducting research on nonlinear wave phenomena in the solar wind. Chu has co-authored 8 papers and has been among inventors for 2 US patent applications. Chu holds a PhD in Applied Plasma Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a MSc in Applied Mathematics and Applied Physics from Columbia University and a Diplôme d'Ingénieur (BSc) from CentraleSupélec in France.
