I joined Arm in 1994 working on EDA tools and cycle accurate processor models. I later moved to the compiler team implementing C/C++ language features and code generation optimized for both code-size and performance. I moved into Arm Research in 2010. I was the Arm coordinator for the European collaborative projects MontBlanc and MontBlanc 2 which were looking at High-Performance Computing based on energy-efficient embedded technology.
As a member of the Software and Large Scale Systems Research group my areas of research include Edge Computing: hardware and software architecture for building secure, reliable and scalable distributed systems.
