Sadanand Gulwadi launched his career in academia in 1992, he joined the faculty of Electronics Engineering at Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia, USA after graduating with a doctorate in semiconductor materials and devices. In the summer of 1997 he joined a group of engineers at a startup called Siliconions, Inc., in Santa Clara, California, USA, until he joined Synopsys, Inc., in Mountain View, California, USA in 1998 at the end of the year. At Synopsys, Sadanand worked in the verification group for almost 13 years covering roles ranging from corporate applications engineering and technical marketing to new-technology validation and management. He returned to the field of education in 2011, where he became South Asia Regional Manager of the Arm University Program at Arm in Bangalore India. He is now the Director of Education at Arm Cambridge in the UK heading up the Arm University program which is a global program providing university academics worldwide with free teaching materials and technologies for many Computer Engineering and related courses.
