Happy holidays Wikituders! It’s that special time of year again where we all collectively take a breather and focus on fun, family, and festivities. Over the past year, we’ve been steadily ramping up our community and education efforts, with the firm belief that educating the minds of tomorrow is the best way to prepare for the future today.

With this mindset, we thought about what we could do to further this mission this holiday season. You might have heard a few weeks back about Mr. Zuckerberg and Ms. Chan’s generous donation of $500K, matched by Mr. and Mrs. Doerr, thus completing one fifth of Code.org’s mission to crowdfund training for teachers to increase the number of students participating in the Hour of Code.

While we’d love to donate half a million dollars and help Code.org surpass their goal, we’re not quite there yet, but loved the matching spirit. Therefor, from today until December 15th (the final day of the Indiegogo campaign), we’ll be donating 5% of every SDK purchase to The Hour of Code initiative.

So if you were looking for the right time to jump on board with the award-winning Wikitude SDK, now’s the time! We hope that you’ll join us in helping to shape the minds of tomorrow though a solid campaign of education.

From all of us here at Wikitude, we wish you the very merriest of holidays, and we’re looking forward to making a massive donation to Code.org’s The Hour of Code campaign.
