We have a situation with our device where it cannot get any IP address from the DHCP server.
The firmware has the latest MDK version 7.12.0.
At one of our customer site there is a network configuration with a relay agent and the device cannot seem to accept the DHCP offer from the server.
Here is how the message looks like:
Do you see anything specious that might cause the network component to reject the offer message?
Any help will be appreciated.
You can follow this page to enable the Middleware network debug output, so that you can know the root cause why your DHCP client has rejected this DHCP offer.
MW-Network DHCP client also supports DHCP relay agents. To improve robustness and security, and to prevent network attacks, the DHCP client validates DHCP offers very strictly. If the DHCP offer fails to verify, the DHCP client ignores it.
Therefore, enable and capture the network debugging output as suggested by Chen, and then return with the debug log or contact ARM support.
Thanks for the replies.
We are trying to reproduce the problem at our location as the client, at which the issue occurred, is located overseas.
I will come back with the debugging logs by end of next week.
