I am using ULINK2 and uVision3 V3.53 to debug my embedded system.
I typed in a variable in the Watch #1 window so that I could watch a variable as it goes through the program. This was working great. Then one time I started a debug session and uVision crashed and put up a dialog box that said: uVision3 IDE has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Now I start uVision back up and click on the Watch #1 tab the program crashes everytime. However I can click on the Watch #2 tab and put a variable to watch and this seems to work.
Anyone know how I can get my Watch #1 window back without the program crashing. Hopefully there is a file somewhere that I can delete.
When uVision loads it opens the last project that was opened. I found that if I closed the project and opened the project backup this has fixed the issue that I was having with the Watch #1 window.
It still would be good to know what caused an error like this to start with.
Sounds like it's time to update to the current MDK version...
