Hi everyone,

I'm new in the world of arm and microcontrollers, and I'm facing a
weird problem. I've uploaded my
code into the flash memory, and it works just fine. But when I
disconnect the UART utilized to burn it,
the program stops running.

RE: Problem running codes on LPC2148

Using a push button. The code is turn a led on while the push
button is in level 1. But if I disconnect
the cable, the program doesn't run normally.

uart is disconnected, .... I send the command
how?

RE: Problem running codes on LPC2148

But Erik, when the uart is disconnected, the led or lcd wich was
being used in the code, still in high level, but when I send the
command to clear it, it doesn't works, so I think that ground isn't
the problem. Do you know anything else that might be ?

a common issue about "works only when the cable connected" is a
ground missing or 'bad' the effect of which does not exist when the
cables ground 'takes over'

Well, the UART is connected normally, I dont that is a hardware
problem because Im working with a pattern board, I've searching about
it and I think that maybe there is a flag in one of the registers,
but I really don't know. Do you know anything about that ?

RE: Problem running codes on LPC2148

So how did you connect this UART?

Does the reset and EINT2 signals go to handshake signals on the
UART, to allow FlashMagic to reset the board and enter the boot
loader? In that case - are these two signals holding a proper signal
level when the UART adapter/cable isn't connected?
