Hi All Greetings!!!
Hello, i am facing problem on Philips P89V51RD2 micro controller for the EOL(End of Lofe), we use it for the our automotive applications for the past year, and now it has been discontinued due to Philips selling it's semi-conductor operations last year. So I was wondering if anyone had a good substitute they had tried ??? Please advise me to find a good substitute.......!

I think both microchip & atmel were touting their parts as replacements for NXP...?

Hi Andrew Neil
Thanks for the response, with your advise i found in Microchip SST89V516RD2, and in Atmel AT89V51RD2-20PU. In my appllication i am using P89V51RD2FN microcontroller interfacing with the external SRAM for storing the code xdata memory on to it and flash programming the controller by using Flash Magic with ISP mode on the hardware so it can able to store the xdata value to SRAM,
Here i am facing problem about how to load program on to the SST89V516RD2 by keil suport WinBurn flash utility or does it able to programm(ISP) by serial(UART), because my hardware design support by serial flash, or if any modification need to do, Please Advise me,,,,,
You need to study the documentation from Microchip - and speak to your local rep/FAE/whatever
