You are just floundering around like a drowning man in deep
water.

You just keep leaping at every shiny thing that catches your
eye.

Really, you need to go back to your teacher and have a serious
talk about going back to lay the solid foundations of designing &
developing software.

Mr Andy, I tried to compile and flash freertos code in LM3S6965. I
got source code from net and i compiled using keil..it successfully
got compiled. Now i have problem in download of hex file to the kit.

Sorry, but the only thing I can suggest is that you are in way
over your head; you need to go and be honest with your teacher and
admit that you have no idea how to complete this assignment.

I agree. TCP/IP stacks on microcontrollers do require considerable
skills. As I said elsewhere, the fact that SPI programming poses
difficulties is very telling. How can anyone hope to put together an
MCU-based web server before clearing the hurdle of SPI
programming?

Pardon?? What do you mean, "all of a sudden"?

These things don't just magically appear - they have to be ordered
and paid for.

"Mr.Andy any suggestion?"

Sorry, but the only thing I can suggest is that you are in way
over your head; you need to go and be honest with your teacher and
admit that you have no idea how to complete this assignment.

Then you can discuss with your teacher how you can catch up with
the learning necessary for a task like this.

Actually my project is on sensor interfacing to a controller and
then performing some simple processing like switching off the relay,
alarm etc based on the data from sensor module.
Then all the data from controller has to be sent to a pc and iam
supposed to maintain a webserver. This is my project. I started with
ARM LPC2148.
I used micro c osii and completed sensor module..i could see the
output in hyperterminal for uart program in which task will get the
status of adc and display the cuurent value frm adc.
Now iam supposed to send the data thro ethernet to a pc.For that i
need an external ethernet controller.
I planned to buy enc28j60 where i require to write spi code....But i
dont have any idea about how to write spi code, what al files to
include and how to proceed..so i thought to buy serial to ethernet
converter which do not require any special coding...and data can be
sent thro uart itself!!

And now al of a sudden, i got LM3S6965 ethernet kit with keil
tools (Texas).Idont kno wat to do!!!!!!!!! i tried the sample prgrms
given with this kit....No RTOS prgrms are given... i downloaded
freertos code and compiled then tried to fuse it in to the kit, so
many errors!!!!it s mentioning mismatch!!!!! Iam familiar with microc
osii than freertos.i hav nil knowledge abt freertos....i hav worked
with microc osii (..like simple codes) Now really i dont kno what to
do!!!!!!!!!!! i really wanted to learn things and complete my project
successfully...but i really dont kno how to
proceed....................... Mr.Andy any suggestion???? can yo just
guide me....please.....Also time left to complete my project is also
less... its abt hardly 1 and half month to finish my
project!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You seem to have a tendency to start lots of threads, but not
follow-through:

http://www.keil.com/forum/18432/

http://www.keil.com/forum/18404/

e2e.ti.com/.../332885.aspx

As noted on the TI thread,

"you should resolve your difficulties with SPI programming
before moving on to Ethernet programming.
The latter requires more skills"

If you couldn't manage SPI on a processor that you say you are
"used to", it seems a bit of a leap to try TCP/IP and Ethernet on a
totally unfamiliar chip!!

What kit, exactly, do you have?

If it's a "learner" kit then, presumably, it must come with
explanatory documents, examples, etc for you to study?

"Iam not sure whether this ethernet learner kit will support
Microc osii"

Why does that matter?

Do you mean this: micrium.com/.../os-ii
?

What does their documentation tell you about the
requirements for µC/OS-II ?
Does the board meet those requirements?

Do you have any experience with µC/OS-II ?

"Iam new to this LM3S6965"

Do you have any experience with any other microcontroller(s)?

Do you have any other programming experience?

"I dont kno how to proceed"

Why not start with the materials included in your "learner"
kit?

"iam searching for tcp/ip for cortex m3"

TI provide several TCP/IP examples using the uIP and LwIP stacks -
have you looked at them?

"can anyone help me in working with this LM3S6965"

You need to start by putting in some study of your own.

If you're new to microcontrollers and/or programming, then TCP/IP
is not the place to start

"i like to work with microc osii"

Any particular reason?

"how to work with tcp/ip ?"

Do you understand how TCP/IP works in general?
If not, that's the first thing you need to study!

"how to send data thro ethernet of this controller?"

Look at TI's examples.
