Hello,
I am currently using a µvision V5.26.2.0 and sometimes I can't save source file ( h , cpp ).
When it happened the pop ups window showing this message:
"Encountered a sharing violation while accessing {Path to me source file}"
The only one way that can change this behavior is to restart the µvision IDE.
Can I do something else?
The primary issue that spawned this thread was resolved.
You might get a similar error unrelated to the primary.
Unfortunately just saying "me too" with out any contextual detail isn't going get you much help.
Start a new thread for 5.29 issues, providing specific details on your system, including those about software running, like AV, connectivity and where the problem files reside, etc. Also what interactions with the IDE tend to precipitate the failure most often.
Same problem. Keil 5.29. Annoying. Fixed or not?
It does still occur but not as often. I still sometimes get an error stating that uVision is unable to save the file (I don't remember the exact message). I then have to quit the IDE and restart to solve the problem. I have seen this on V5.27 and V5.29.
This doesn't seem to have anything to do with the rest of this thread?
Haven't seen the issue crop up in months of use. Using 5.27 currently
Yes, I have not seen it since it was fixed (I'm running 5.27)
I'm still using an older version. Is this bug now fixed?

Hi,
Am using release 5.27 and something similar popped up again.
On recent closure there was an error for saving a header file with error number 22.

We made were making the IDE more robust, but were checking things in an order that could sometimes cause an issue.
Re-arranging the process that we did that seems to resolve the issue that sparked this thread.
Clicking the "Download MDK v5.27 pre-release" button.

This edition should resolve most users issues with sharing violations.
would be interesting to know!
I have the same issue and agree with you.
It is called hedging..
What did the underlying issue turn out to be?
"most" ?!
