Hi, I was trying to search for a particular for() loop in my code, and put this into the Find in Files box: for (temp The "Regular expression" tickbox was left unticked. However when clicking Find All, a messagebox announced "Regular expression might be wrong, please check." However the regular expression tickbox is unticked.
This is repeatable, with anything (anything in the search field.
Am I doing something unreasonable or is this a bug?
John
It has been fixed in MDKv5.22 and you should not face it in MDKv5.23
For time being, either contact technical support for patch or revert to older versions: www.keil.com/.../ www2.keil.com/.../silver
Hi Sankalp,
I got another issues concerning 'Find in Files':
1) In 'Find in Files' checkbox 'Match case' dont have any effect. This is annoying and complicates searching relevant lines.
2) If 'File types' is left blank, and 'Look in' is a dedicated directory (with 'Include sub-foldes' checked in my case), then the search result is always empty. This is irritating, because in case of 'Current Document' or 'Current Projekt' it works like 'File types' = "*.*". Now I know it and keep it in mind. But sometimes (I dont know in which cases) when I open the Find in Files dialog, then 'File types' field appears empty and I have to fill it explicitely.
Please consider about fix these.
When will be MDKvV5.23 availible? (Actually the download link leads to v5.22)
Best regards Matz.
