Ulink2 is working fine in Keil4.73 and is able to program TLE9867 device but in Keil5.20 with firmware V2.03 of Ulink2 it is not able to program TLE9879 Infineon MCU. in keil4.73 even with firmware V2.03 of Ulink2 , one can program TLE9867. so conclusion is that Keil5 is not supporting programming of TLE9867 device with Ulink2.
Strange then how come the same debugger is able to program with same PC using with Keil4.17 IDE via SWD port to my target board.
check the error explanation here http://www.keil.com/support/man/docs/ulink2/ulink2_errors.htm A serial No. showing up only means µVision detect this ULINK2 correctly. "SWD Communication Failure" means your ULINK2 cannot communicate with your target board via SWD port correctly.
btw. where did you buy your ULINK2?
Yes, I purchase a licence version of Ulink2 from Keil. no pirated copy
Error is "SWD Communication failure" Though my Debugger Serial no is detected correctly
Moreover, are you sure you are using an official ULINK2 from keil (not the copied version from ebay)?
What's the error from MDK v5.x exactly?
MCU is TLE9867, and I had configure the setting correctly. I am confident about this because even with Keil 5.17 I had notice the same behaviour. as I mention Ulink2 firmware version is V2.03 and it is working with Keil 4 and not with Keil5 I am not the only one got this problem , even my friend got same problem. if you had successful in programming TLE9867 with Ulink2 , pls share the configuration settings
Are you talking about MDK v5.20 with TLE9867 or TLE9879 using ULINK2? What do you mean by "Ulink2 it is not able to program TLE9879 Infineon MCU"? Are you really sure you configured the debug settings all correctly? What's the error exactly?
btw. how can you be so confident to draw such a conclusion "Keil5 is not supporting programming of TLE9867 device with Ulink2"? Have you gotten any confirmation about this from ARM or Infineon directly? If not, your "conclusion" is not worth being shared here...
