I would like to download a new program without opening it, just by sending a file (the .hex for example) to the microcontroller by jtag.
Is there some tools to do it or keil has a mean to to it without having access to the code?

Thank you

RE: Download of a program

You will need to see your chip vendor (or their support site) to find out what support is available for your particular chip.

There's some useful info here:
http://www.keil.com/flash/
http://www.keil.com/flash/utilities.htm

Application Note 159 describes how to integrate The Triscend E5's Flash Download utility into uVision - you could take that as a basis for your particular device & utility...

You could add the appropriate utility to the Windows Explorer file options if you want to be able to download a file just by clicking on it - see your Windows documentation.
