FET 89c5


 I downloaded the program FET89c5 on my laptop ,for  making a codes in hex file so i can burn it in 8051   , when i want to compile a file it doesn't work , the blue line keep moving with out getting any results

any suggestion to these problem ?

  • Since you for some reason considered your question to be source code and tagged it as such, it's likely that you have done more mixups of source code and other information. Maybe you should stop the blue line, and ask it why it keeps moving. Another alternative is to try to build the code and read the messages you get from the compiler/linker and ponder if these messages gives any hint what might have gone wrong. Right now, you haven't even told anyone where you found that FET89c5 program - it seems like a quite strange program name. By the way - it seems like you forgot the tags for bold - you only managed italic code, unless this forum doesn't honor the combined formatting of "pre" + "i" + "b" (does it?) Another thing: If you want help with using the tools to build 8051 programs - why did you specific "Generic" for the architecture? The editor may be "generic", but the compiler/linker most specifically is not.
