I have a project of 8051 timer. 
In that the project file has extension of &amp;quot;uvproj&amp;quot; ... and it is not
valid in UV3 version.. so how to open project,, and 
I need the debug file for running it in proteus software,, so how o
generate that... 
.

Look under the Menu Item Projects-&amp;gt;Export. It appears that Keil
can export in uV3 format although I have not verified it works.&lt;/p&gt;

uVision-4 uses a different project format from uVision-3.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
As is usually the case, uVision-4 can open files from its
predecessor, but uVision-3 cannot open files from its successor!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;
I don&amp;#39;t think there is any facility to &amp;quot;downgrade&amp;quot; a project from
uV-4 to uV-3&lt;/p&gt;
