I have MCB1700 board with LPC 1768. But I would like to know if

CoiNel have header board on LPC1788

For a complete novice, that makes sense.

But you say you've got a Keil MCB1700 board with LPC 1768. That
should be enough to gain sufficient understanding of the tools to be
able to move different hardware vendor - the tools remain the same;
only hte hardware changes (and it's still the same family).

After all, when you get to applying the tools "for real", won't
you be designing your own hardware (or getting it designed for
you)...?

They do not anounce their plans on the forum - you would have to
speak direct to Keil themselves.

I actually think quite a high percentage did go for a
demo/evaluation board to learn the processor on known-working
hardware
to learn, yes

I actually think quite a high percentage did go for a
demo/evaluation board to learn the processor on known-working
hardware while concurrently working on designing custom hardware. All
with the intention of having lots of working code the day the first
hw prototypes shows up. And also having been able to catch some
gotchas from using the evaluation boards, potentially saving an extra
spin with the custom hardware.

But I prefer all board / tools from same vendor
a rare situation
for most of us the 'board vendor' is ourselves

Thank you Tamir.

I found the Embedded Artists 1788 board. But I prefer all board /
tools from same vendor. I have search the Keil's site and can not
find it. I do not know if Keil has anything planned to make it. If
not, I might have to go to other vendor like Embedded Artists.

Embedded artists have such boards.
