Hi there,

I am working on Phytec minimodul c167 and i would like to change
the Pins 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4
from Chip select mode to general purpose I/O. I know they are
configured by RP0H in CSSEL but how i can be able to change that, as
it's

RE: Change Port 6 C167 CR

Read section 7.3, Alternate Port Functions in the User
Manual...

Then look at the schematics of your board, and the documentation
that describes how it has implemented its Chip-Select
configuration...

Cheers, i read this sentence but still am not sure how to
configure this port during reset ?

i did check the manual no additional information on changing
the these pins functionalities.

So how did you manage to miss this sentence, which is
directly above the one you were referring to earlier, about
CSSEL being read-only>

The number of chip select signals is selected via PORT0 during reset.

How much clearer does a datasheet have to be?

Hmmm, you mean CSCFG (Chip select configuration Control) ?

In the chip manual off course

Do you mean the Keil C167 compiler manual, or the Infineon
manual for the C167 chip?

Can you give a link?

"Any idea how to change this"

It must be in one of those manuals - surely?

Or is it defined by the board you are using - in which case, check
the board manual!

page 201 (9-26) c167 manual.

Note: RP0H cannot be changed via software, but rather allows to
check the current
configuration.

Any idea how to change this reset value so the pins in port 6 are
just normal I/O pins ?

Why do you doubt it?
