Hello
I have worked on LPC3250 on Phytec 1305.3 board. I have a question
about HSUARTs:
Is there any difference between HSUART and UART regarding electrical
interface?
Is it possible to communicate a standard serial port with a high
speed UART by

RE: High-Speed UART vs Standart UART

The respective Datasheets will tell you that!

"Is it possible to communicate a standard serial port with a
high speed UART by adjusting serial port parameters?"

By "standard serial port", I assume you mean the COM port(s) on a
PC?
Again, you will have to look at the specifications for your
COM port(s) to determine what speeds they support.

I have some USB-to-Serial adaptors which support up to 921600 baud
- I call that quite "high".

Note that a PC COM port must not be connected direct to any UART;
you must use a suitable "RS232" transceiver - which must, of course,
be specified for the maximum speed required...
