I am using GSM for data transmission which needs AVR interface as
well as PC I/F. Using hyper terminal which type of responses are
generated?
And how those responses are important? How do we configure them?
I am a new learner and at the moment very

RE: AVR-GSM I/F

Just another pair of nitwits using the forum as their own chat

I don't know VB.

Generally many people uses Hyper Terminal for Serial communication
on PC.

Your PC OS is also ready made but you are using it. Isn't it?

If you want to do coding then make your serial communication code
for AVR.

I wish not to use any readymade s/w to access GSM.In that case I
need to access GSM through VB. Do i need to look upon these msgs
also?

"Do i need to configre anything in my PC when GSM is connected
very first time?"

No need of any configuration.

You can give the AT commands using Hyper Terminal directly.
On Hyper Terminal you will get "OK" or "ERROR" from GSM modem

If GSM is working fine then OK,ERROR such responses are generated.
