Maybe you should spend time together: http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread14624.asp
The chosen processor doesn't matter. The main task is to learn the use of the AT commands.
dear Westermark if u not want to give answer than why u post answer...... if u know than only post.......:X
But Per is correct - The chosen processor really does not matter one bit!
The GSM device neither knows nor cares what processor sends the AT commands - it doesn't even know or care if it was a processor at all, or someone typing manually at a terminal!
The only things that matter are that you send the correct AT commands, and your serial interface is correctly connected & configured.

Indeed, but as he knows perfectly well the OP just wants a "Here's the source code to do what you want" answer. I don't understand why otherwise intelligent people seem to enjoy giving these lobotomised SMS kiddies deliberately unhelpful answers. A better policy would be to ignore them.
While I'm at it, could you also refrain from posting to dead threads for no reason other than to point out that they are dead?
It isn't impossible that these two requesters are actually students at the same school in which case they may potentially meet in person. But they may join forces electronically too.
On the other hand, it would help if any discussion about line terminations, timeouts or waiting for prompts did not have to be duplicated in separate threads.
Of course, it would be even better if the forum search system was used, since there are a large number of older threads already covering the subject.
I've no idea whether you are replying to my post as you failed to quote any content, but assuming you are, so what? Any response to the OP just prolongs a pointless thread.
Not necessarily - he has at least got as far as sending the correct AT command, and receiving and recognising the first part of the response. And his reply in the thread that Per linked shows that he has identified a valid approach to the problem.
So there is hope...
And his reply in the thread that Per linked shows that he has identified a valid approach to the problem.
Perhaps, but his reply to that post was:
Showing that he is really only interested in a direct answer such as:
Here is the source code to do exactly what you want. Give me your email address and I will send you the complete final year project that I have designed, documented and tested for you in the electronic format of your choice. If you give me your postal address I will also send you a large cheque to ensure that you will never have to consider anything as demeaning as employment. This is your right because the world owes it to you.
Not really.
"Not really."
Sadly, it appears that you were right.
