Good morning,

we are having problems connecting to a (custom) board equipped
with an XE 164 using ULINK2. We are using the Keil compiler (PK166
v6.11).

While using the ULINK driver in Keil, the connection to the
controller is established and

RE: Connect Ulink to XE

Hello,

using Memtools once on each virgin board would be perfectly
acceptable to me.

However, I can't figure out how to connect to the board with
Memtools: Which driver do I have to select for the ULINK2? Does it
run via DAS? If not, is there a DLL I can use or a seperate driver to
install that Memtool can use?

Regards,
i finally succeeded by using the infineon software memtools to
load a basic (or default) program and only after i succeeded to use
the ulink to load my program. I think that ulink2 doesn't able to
load or erase a virgin XE167, you have to use first "memtools", it's
very strange for a 400 euros module!!!! ;)

I have also this problem with the ULink2 with an XE167
from Infineon , i have al ready switched the ULink2 with a other one
but the problem stays. U use a target which works with a 10MHz
crystal and an 5Volt power supply. Connection is lost with the
programmer and programmer hangs. Only disconnecting from USB resets
the
programmer. Both programmers where brand new and never be used..
Still waiting for an answer from Keil if they could find an error in
the ULink2.
