Hi, I am working on the debugger development of 8051 target. To
design the debugger I need to extract debug info from the absolute
file(without extn) generated by bl51.The absolute file is in the form
of Intel OMF 51 & and I am not able to relate the

RE: Whats the realation b/w OMF51 and absoulute file generated by BL51

If this is a bona fide development, then you should contact
Keil and seek to negotiate a suitable commercial agreement...

Thanks alot for your reply.
But can you tell me any other way out to explore the Absoulute file
for debug info

Keil tells us the OMF follows the standard and even gives a link
to the spec in:

http://www.keil.com/support/docs/93.htm

But you are right, the Keil OMF does not follow the standard OMF
format. When asked, Keil claims proprietary information.

It's just good business practice to sell the crop, not the
seed.
