Hello every body.
I'm new with the 8051. I'm wondering about the STARTUP.A51 file:i
read about the possibility to modify it if i'm about to use extra
memory to the chip.Could any one help m with an exemple so that i can
see what changes could occur

RE: STARTUP.A51

Yes, your compiler comes with a whole folder full of examples -
funnily enough, it's called Keil\C51\EXAMPLES !!

Actually, in most cases you do not need to modify the startup.a51
file directly, but you can use the configuration wizard which can be
accessed by clicking on the tab below the text window.

This way, configuring your chip becomes fairly trivial.

yes, you can change it, but nobody can help you with such a vague
description of what you want to change.

more words do not make you appear stupid, they make you appear
clear
