Hi dazheng,
Need to know ... what is EEPROM used in MCU for ?. I know EEPROM stand for Electrical Erasable Programming ROM but I need to know what's the purpose or where it going to be used in MCU?
I ask this because some of MCU dont have EEPROM ( EEPROM = 0 byte) ie 80NC535 & 80NC321 and the best thing about this MCU (without EEPROM) that's its cheaper than MCU with EEPROM. If it just minor used and can solve it in other method (and not effect my project) , I will use it as I need to lower the cost as much as possible.
Any instruction (ie in proton) that must be used on MCU with EEPROM ?
More explanation greatly appreciated.
Thanks
zuisti
Hi "zuisti",
She wants the EEPROM for keeping the program when changed.
Will flash Magic Support this one ?
I happen to have a few pieces of this controller!!
I'm ready(?) with this work yet. It is a two mode (switchable) 8 char dot matrix display, working in Proteus, with source in javaC: I'm used a 89c734a.
- in scrolling mode it has a buffer for a max 54 chars message. The speed is controllable. - in static mode it is cascadable, set the position in the received string with the pos. switch.
The attached ZIP contains the orig. article (a PDF), as my start point. Please read it!
Please post here your minds!
"She wants the EEPROM for keeping the program when changed."
No, she doesn't. I checked with her and she wants it for calibration data storage.
I know you rbusy but i really need some advice from the programmer guru plz.
what is 'port change interrupt' (ports 4,5,6,7) means ... is it port change from low to high or high to low analog signal(?) or a changes of digital signal ie from 5V to 4.7V or 4.26V?
i need to further reduce the power consumption, all unused of hardware peripherals should be disabled. The pullups should be replaced with external resistors, and the internal pullups disabled with a resistor.but what value(?)
please be generous with your wisdoming voice.
Thanks,
"what is 'port change interrupt' (ports 4,5,6,7) means ... is it port change from low to high or high to low analog signal(?) or a changes of digital signal ie from 5V to 4.7V or 4.26V?"
Such silly questions.
Such a waste of a guru's time.
"what is 'port change interrupt' (ports 4,5,6,7) means ... "
Good grief. Just look it up. No wonder our project sucks so bad. You're just mucking about blindly without reading a thing.
GET WITH THE PROGRAM!
"is it port change from low to high or high to low analog signal(?) or a changes of digital signal ie from 5V to 4.7V or 4.26V?"
Yes.
internal pullups disabled with a resistor.but what value(?) This is an easy question. You need a resistor with the same value as the data sheet specifies for the internal pull-up, but with a negative value. Alas, negative resistances are a bit harder to manufacture, so it may affect your production cost slightly. I haven't seen anyone manufacturing monolithic negative resistors, but with a suitable power source and your loved op-amps, you may even produce your own negative resistors :)
morning dazheng,
ive been working for too long but making progress.
thanks for your guru advise.i now have another bug found but with the MCU talking but have talking between them wrong.
I am new to 874C35 and want to play with it. So I need to build a programmer. Please advice me which programmer should I build considering most supported device including 874C31, which also supports WINMCU200, heard it is very handy than ic-prog. Found this MCU programmer based on JIT programmer and seems handy to me because it supports both LRP and HCAP. Does anybody used this programmer ? Does it supports winmcu800? If so how to configure ?
i know you are busy but your experiece is needed for my helping .
yawn yawn.
Hi zuisti mate,
the 874C35 looks good.i have the datashits and i like facilities. the Programmer is not so easy to find and i saw 874C31 also but is diferent(?)
I look more for you.
can you give me profesional advise now please on motor drivers.
you were lookin at the efkar motor driver circit i think and i want to see schematic essentials exigent,
please assistance please
qotd
Remember! You are unique, just like everybody else.
great huh?!?!
"Does anybody used this programmer ?"
Yes, somebody does.
"Does it supports winmcu800?"
Just like it says on the tin.
"If so how to configure ?"
Fill in the options under the configuration menu.
"i have the datashits ..."
Ugh! Depending on their orientation "at exit", the ones hurt worse than the zeros, don't they?
"diferent(?)"
Right, you're wrong.
"please assistance please"
I hope you cure those datashits soon. You're really stinkin' up the joint. No assistance however. You do your own wiping.
dazheng,
the efkar motor driver circuit is simple but has lots of pins to connect up for the steppering.I had tried a stepper motor controller n driver with L5297 + LR623 and result is perfect.but sometimes it doesnot start and sometimes goes backwards(?) you will use this circuit in the purposed CNC machine.
see home.att.net/.../MD4.html
i think we could make it beter.yes(?)
"backwards(?)"
Yes, good one. A silver star for you.
"i think we could make it beter.yes(?)"
"beter"? No.
"better"? Yes, but no.
In any case, no you couldn't make it better. Even the best CNC machines sometimes don't start. That's just the way they are. CNC motion includes going backwards.
Don't worry.
No improvement needed.
Hi ziusti,
do we we get the 2543b? i think the nmck-45892zr is better(bcoz bigger voltege).
And my proposition is an additional soft-start circuit with an R-LC and an SiAg-diode ...
does you somone have an idea of how to do a control of an induction single phase motor , i ve done one project in my life but it was for three phase, it was depending on the fase angle i think been a long time ive done it, do ou think i can use this priciple with a single phase motor that is monitor the phase via an opto coupler fed to a mcu and the mcu drive an optocouple to drive a triac by pwm?, my pump is is rated 0.5hp my problem is that i have installed a pump for my bathroom and the maximum pressure for my shower heater is 3 bars and my pump is working at 4 bars, the main problem i fear is that the pipes in my shower get damaged quickly and secondly the frequent start of the automatic pump will damage the stator of my motor.
if she goes backward the water is suck up shower; LOL
thanks in advance
"do we we get the 2543b? i think the nmck-45892zr is better(bcoz bigger voltege).

"result is perfect. but sometimes it does not start"
This is clearly some new meaning of "perfect" of which we were previously unaware!
That's kind of "perfect in an imperfect sort of way", then?!
I'll tell the QA guys to stop being so negative - everything is "perfect", even if it doesn't work properly!
result is perfect. but sometimes it does not start Maybe they mean "complete" when saying perfect. This would explain why it does not start: It started some time ago and has ended now?
"Maybe they mean 'complete'"
As in, "complete nonsense" - like the rest of the thread...?
I'm dying to see the "machine" these two are trying to conjure up. Apparently it has something to do with an MP3 Player, a bathroom shower, and a CNC machine that is ok if it runs backwards.
This thread has to be a long-winded hoax...there just isn't any way two people can be this stupid!
R
That is what we hope, even if they are quite amusing.
"... a bathroom shower ..."
Plugged up by the very bushy sister that wears only tee-shirts who is such a bad cook that she gives her brother the datashits.
??? why the trollops keep trying to hyjack our project thread ???
i think we must use the secret code to hide detail or they will copy our ideas.
Ive gone back to the playa and want better snd.
I have a pair of unused 5.1 speakers. I was using them with my pc. I want now to use them with my 'television'. The problem to solve is: The speakers have two stereo inputs. One for low frequencies, one for middle rage frequencies and one for hight frequencies.
I want to design an active filter that will be able to split the stereo signal from my 'tv' to this three sections of frequencies.
Many years have passed since I was designing filters and I would like your help. i think we need mcu to do it better with lot more code for better sound. If there is a schematics out there it would be great.
plz.U hv to design active filter according to the frequency response of ur speakers. Then u will get excellent performance from ur filter. I hv one small swollen key filter design software but unable to upload here.
i know it is need for quick. but i know you are good strong profesional guru that helps again.
Thanks mate
... or they will copy our ideas. Hehe.
sorry for disturbing your delopment but i need more help v fat plz.
I also have have a small buzzer that emits many different sounds and, also, 3 error codes:
1) Bip Bip Bip at 440Hz 2) Biiip Biiip Biip at 700Hz 3) Biiiip Biiip Biiiip at 1150Hz 4) Biiiip Bip Biiip Biiiip at 1295Hz
I want to decode these 4 error codes. I can't touch nothing (the buzzer, the amp, the sound) than I must use a small little mic to capture the sound/code.
Besides, the buzzer is situated in a crowded place with many people that speaks, screams, cries etc.
Is it possible to do?
Thanks a lot and sorry, another time.
the buzzer is situated in a crowded place with many people that speaks, screams, cries etc.
Where is this project going to be located?
Sounds like some sort of torture chamber!
A result of the high over-pressure in the showers.

"I want to design an active filter that will be able to split the stereo signal from my 'tv' to this three sections of frequencies."
An active filter is way overkill. Your speaker wire is stranded with a multiplicity of low, mid, and high frequency strands, each clearly marked if you look close enough. Many redundant 3-strands, but always a multiple of three.
Just separate out all the low frequency strands and connectorize them, then do the same for the mid and high frequency strands. Now you can connect your speakers accordingly.
i think about your err codes.very dificult for little MCU and we will need very poweful MCU with lots of speed code.
mayme you can use digital passband freq digital opamp but that is very hard.
you would appreciate links(?() to sites providing details regarding 'Multicycle Integrating Analog to Digital Converters'.
I believe these are meant for precision measurement applications requiring 20 - 24 bit precision. so i dont think 8 bit or 16 bit MCU is any good.you need 32 or more MCU bits.
maybe you need one MPU for each frequency(?) so it will cost a lot.
i am veeeery buzy now and have a lot of difficult project to complete. but i am happy to help my clever friend again.
"... i know you are good strong profesional guru ..."
This thread is proof counter to that.
"I hv one small swollen key filter design software but unable to upload here."
There are people whose profession it is to help up your load.
"frequency(?)"
Correct. A pink star for you!
"maybe you need one MPU for each frequency(?) so it will cost a lot."
To cover each frequency between 20Hz and 20,000Hz would require 19980 MCUs!
Very costly indeed!
As long as you stay avay from LARGE memory model, one MCU will manage several correlation filter - one for each detect frequency. Length of correlation filter affects band-width of each filter. Quite possible to detect frequencies below the noise level as long as the beeps have small deviations from nominal frequencies.
can iuse 1-wir eeprom to store cfg dta for signle strand?
