sir, I have a question in embedded applications. QUESTION:
THERE IS A STEEL ROD OF SOME LENGTH AND TWO VIBRATION SENSORS ARE
ATTACHED TO ITS ENDS. THERE IS A TAP(SOMEONE HITS THE ROD AT SOME
POINT), BY USING THE READINGS OF VIBRATION SENSORS WHICH

RE: about a embedded project

Vibrations travel through a material at the speed of sound of the
material. So, if the dimensions of the rod and the speed of sound in
steel are known, it should be a fairly simple matter:

There are two knowns t1 and t2 (times at which the vibration was
detected at each end of the rod) and two unknowns, t0 and x (the time
at which the rod was tapped, and the position).

It can probably be simplified to just one known (delta t, the time
difference between the detections) and one unknown, x.

actually it is necessary for a project.
