I can&amp;#180;t see the changes in the CAN registers when using the
simulator. The GPT2 Timer 6 is running well and is visable. But in
the CAN1 Menu everything is greyed out. I&amp;#180;m using DAvE to
generate Software for the Infineon C167CR.

You need to enable the &lt;b&gt;XPEN&lt;/b&gt; bit in the STARTUP file.
Otherwise the hardware CAN peripheral is unpowered and this is the
reason why it is shown grew in the tools. But the simulator is not
restricted here.&lt;/p&gt;
