Hello
I am using Builtin Baudrate generator for two serial ports UART0 and
UART1 in P89C669.Two Serial ports are working properly. But I am not
able to use Timer2 for other timing functions ...
Kindly help in this regards.

"I am using this P89C669 Chip for "

My question was: do you have the '669 in your hands? How many can
you buy? Maybe a local distributor or a gray market broker can supply
you with parts, but that vaporware from Philips is no longer being
manufactured for quite a while now.

Thanks Jonny Doin for your reply.
I am using this P89C669 Chip for the requirement of
Dual UART, Three timers and program memory of 64K.
Is there any other chip (PIN compatible)which can support the above
requirements.
Regards
This is in the chip errata for P89C669: when you use Baudrate
Generator, the TF2 flag will not trigger the Timer2 interrupt service
routine. There is no workaround for this silicon bug.

A question: Where are you getting P89C669 these days? It is no
longer manufactured. Are you buying in quantity?
