(actually im using timer 1, but i must change for timer 2). It&amp;#39;s possible?

The P89C51Rx2 datasheet at Philips has a full T2 description that AFAIK apply to ANY T2.  A section is &amp;quot;T2 as baudrate generator&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;

With the &amp;quot;a datasheet shall only show what is not in &amp;quot;the bible&amp;quot;&amp;quot; principle there are some divergences re T2 since some issues of &amp;quot;the bible&amp;quot; include T2 and some do not.&lt;br /&gt;

I assume the 80c552 is much the same as the 80c52 so if you go here:-&lt;br /&gt;

then atmel have an example in c and asm as to how to use timer 2 as the baud rate generator which i am sure you should be able to modify to suit your XTAL and BAUD RATE requirements.&lt;br /&gt;
