I have actually resolved the problem, however the solution is not as shown in the user manual.  Instead of declaring HCONST (C:0x048000-C:0x04FFFF), I have used HCONST (B03:0x8000-B03:0xFFFF).&lt;br /&gt;

This is accepted by the linker and works in the target.&lt;br /&gt;
