Yes, there shouldn&amp;#39;t; and there wasn&amp;#39;t - so that&amp;#39;s fine!&lt;br /&gt;

WHY, Zero is a perfectly legal binary number.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Let me give an example why it would be wrong to make it illegal (which it is not in the first place)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
values_for_joe{&lt;br /&gt;
01111001b,&lt;br /&gt;
01010011b,&lt;br /&gt;
01000000b,&lt;br /&gt;
01100000b,&lt;br /&gt;
11001110b}&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If zero binary were illegal the above table would look like crap&lt;br /&gt;
