I got the information from Philips that some of the early devices had a problem with the bootloader and flash.&lt;br /&gt;
If you use the ISP tool from Philips to get the device ID successfully and it hang when you try to erase or program the device it seems that your device had a problem.&lt;br /&gt;
Then you can still use the Ulink programming the flash directly (without using the IAP functions) or get a replacement of the device.&lt;br /&gt;

I just downloaded my code and all seemed okay - at first.  First try, so good.  Then I stop the target from running, pressed reset, and pressed run again.  Nothing happened on the target. The flash download process works okay and the code works. But like I said, I press the run button and sometimes the target (LED&amp;#39;s lite) runs okay and sometimes the target does nothing at all. There are some core restrictions in the ARM JTAG interface. Basically you cannot use the IDLE instruction in a program that you want to test.  See:&lt;br /&gt;
