I've coppied over the contents of my Keil CDROM root to my local hard drive. Is there a way I can setup Keil to look at a different location other than "D:\"? The CD contents is not located at "c:\program files\keil\cd\". Can I point keil to this location? Thanks Philip
The easiest way to do it is to uninstall Keil then re-install from the copied CD location. Simply run the setup program from the copied location. All your file references will point to the copied CD location rather than to the CD itself.
Refer to the following knowledgebase article: http://www.keil.com/support/docs/1967.htm Jon
Jon, I tried that and while it worked fine, as soon as I changed to a new project (or changed the device) the links went back to D:\ Not such a perminate solution! Bob's solution works perminatly, however (thanks bob). Thanks Philip
Oops, I never read option #2 about changing the path via the ini file. So of course that would work as well...sorry about that.
