Is it possible to use CodeBench (Mentor Embedded), which is based on GNU compiler/debugger, with ARM's dstream JTAG units? CodeBench includes a debug sprite that communicates with the target which defaults to the GDB protocol for debug.
Hi,
DS-5 contains all the debug configurations that DSTREAM needs in order to communicate with a target device, plus the DSTREAM autoconfiguration tool which attempts to identify the SoC layout.
However, it is possible (with some manual configuration) to use DSTREAM from another debugger through the RDDI interface
Thanks,
Joe
