I am using dsteam-st uint with ds-5(version: 5.27) to debug a pandaboard. PCE is failed to find the DAP when autodetect target and creat my platform configuration.
i also use csat tool check the status, I cannot find the ARMCS-DP,and dvo 0 failed. I think there is something wrong with the DAP, could you give me some suggest about the faliure with the PCE autodetection and how to access the DAP.
JTAG clk 50000000A
Thanks for your attention!
Hi Jerry - the tools have an out-of-the-box configuration for OMAP4430, which is the device on Pandaboard, Does that config work for you? Also ensure you have the correct pinout to the board. Arm provides a 14-way adapter to TI style JTAG connectors:https://developer.arm.com/docs/100893/0100/target-interface-connectors/ti-jtag-14-connectorIf further help is needed, I suggest raising an official support request from the menu above.RegardsRonanPS - please note that DS-5 is an older toolchain. You may wish to try out the latest Arm Development Studio instead:https://developer.arm.com/tools-and-software/embedded/arm-development-studio
thanks for your reply,
I have already raised an official support request.
it worked ok by using the out-of-the-box configuration for OMAP4430, but it only supports ETB trace mode, the ETB buffer is to small(only 4KB). The reason for the issue maybe is that pandaboard has a security devices, but I don't know how to unlock it.
