Hi,
I am looking for an open development platform. A lot of ARM based boards include SoCs with proprietary bootloaders and drivers.Where can I find an open board, featuring a multicore Cortex-A9 or Cortex-A15""without signing, DRM junks or proprietary software required? Thanks in advance for your replies.

For example, the Xilinx Zynq-7000 family has a proprietary bootrom, but you are free to implement your own bootloader. No proprietary driver, no signing, no DRM. (However, this SoC features an FPGA that wouldn't be usefull for me.) I am looking for a SoC like this, and its board.

My experience is that it is actually quite difficult, as most of the commercial silicon providers include some level of locked-down firmware. In fairness if there were no firmware the chip probably wouldn't be bootable, as something has to set up the clocks/memory controllers/etc...
You can get boards from ARM directly (the Versatile family), but these boards are (a) relatively expensive and ( b ) more aimed at silicon companies/OEMs rather than software developers.
