Hello,I'm trying to understand the benefits of incorporating ARM with an embedded-FPGA (eFPGA) fabric in the context of DC/DC controller design.Except from some communication protocols which are already implemented in the MCU, it looks like for most control purposes the high clock requirements of the MCU and the need to synchronize the MCU with the FPGA fabric makes it quite complicated with no apparent benefits.
Would appreciate your thoughts.

What prompts the question?
Have you seen some silicon vendor advertising such a SoC? If so, why don't you ask them to justify their claims?
Or give us a link, so that we can see exactly what they are claiming/proposing ...
