ethernet mac address

i am looking for a ethernet connection for my pump. which i am using a stm32f discovery board. for this i need a mac address. how can i get an mac address and how can i interface with the pump and control with my pc. can you all please guide me.

    Do you know the basics of TCP/IP and Ethernet? If not I strongly suggest to get some reading.
    In order to get individual MAC addresses for your gadget I suggest to google a bit. Sometimes you can buy small sets. In the past Microchip did sell sets of 100 addresses.
    Or you "recover" MAC addresses from old Ethernet cards.
