I want to run Cortex M-3 soft processor core on ZedBooard. I have downloaded the cortex M-3 IP core, created a deisgn by integrating Zynq Processor with Cortex M-3 processor and generated bitstreams.
I have also included the provided SW repository from ARM in Xilinx SDK and craeted a standalone BSP. Then I have copied the xpseudo_asm_rvct.c and xpseudo_asm_rvct.h file in to the include folder of generated standalone bsp.
Now, I don't know how export my BSP to keil and how to go further with application development using Keil MDK.
Any kind of help would be appriciated. Thanks
Could you please help me with this Sean Houlihane
The flow for this should be basically the same as for the example design, although you might run into problems with the BSP here since you're combining ARMv7-M and ARMv7-A processors. This is probably something to flag up to Xilinx.
Thank you for your reply. I am able to successfully implement cortex-M3 softcore on on my Xilinx SoC.
I would like to further implement the Cortex-M3 soft core on an Altera fpga? Does design start support synthesis of cortex-M3 on Altera fpga?
Currently FPGA DesignStart doesn't work on Intel(Altera) FPGA. However, you can try that with Cortex-M3 DesignStart Eval (you need to design the system with RTL).
